What we know

What we know

We watch with bated breath
as our world reshapes around us.
What we know,
lost.
What we believe,
hidden.
Behind a veil of uncertainty.

We know not what is good and true,
but the lies and fears
of those around us
Injected,
like a serum
into our veins.

Maybe
what we know is true,
maybe it’s not.

All we can know for sure,
is what lies within us.
