Cozy sweaters and accessories from two Maine shops
In Maine, we know that the struggle to stay warm and still look fashionable is real. Balancing the two isn’t easy—it often feels like we must sacrifice style for warmth or vice versa. I mean, who hasn’t gone to the market sporting their fleece pajamas paired with a ski hat and gloves? (Guilty.) Sure, it’s a warm ensemble, but ladies, we can look sophisticated and keep our teeth from chattering. Cold-weather clothes can be comfortable and stylish—the two don’t have to be mutually exclusive.
Local shops carry plenty of cozy pieces to add to your winter wardrobe—sharp-looking ponchos, scarves and hats that will leave you feeling like the (very warm) goddess you are.
