An Old Seaside Village
An old seaside village,
whispers stories of its people.
Seafarers and sea bags setting sail.
Wives perched atop widow walks,
waiting for ghosts to come home.
Their stories are told in the silence,
of early morning fog.
When dead return to the living,
kissing them with salty tears.
Hauntingly beautiful it is,
to live in an old seaside village.
